Podcasts
MaiPai Home can turn the things you care about into a podcast, hosted by your own AI companions, in their own voices. It is like having a little radio station for your household that only covers what your family follows.

What a Show Is
A show is an ongoing series, like a real podcast. It has a name, a cover, one or more host companions, and a set of sources it draws from. Each time you generate, the show gets a new episode.
You can build a show around:
- New uploads from creators you follow in Videos, or a specific channel or playlist.
- The latest news.
- Sports scores and discussion.
- A “morning briefing” that mixes news, weather, and what happened on this day in history.
- Your own custom topic.
Starting Out
The first time you open Podcasts you are offered a few ready-made suggestions, like “YouTube Daily Recap,” “Morning Briefing,” and “Sports Roundtable.” Accept one and it becomes a show you own. Dismiss the ones you do not want. You can also build a show from scratch and pick exactly which companions host it.
How an Episode Comes Together
When you generate an episode, MaiPai Home:
- Gathers the latest content from the show’s sources.
- Writes a natural, conversational script, with your host companions chatting back and forth in their own personalities.
- Speaks every line in each host’s real voice.
- Stitches it together with intro and outro music, a title, and chapter markers.
This all happens in the background, so you can keep using the app. When it is ready, the episode appears in the show and you can press play.
Your hosts even have a bit of an inner life: across episodes they carry small ongoing “beats,” and on a show with several hosts one might occasionally sit an episode out, so the series feels like a real, evolving show rather than the same script every time.
From Videos
Watching something and want the gist as a podcast instead? From the Videos app you can send a video, a whole creator, or a playlist — from any source — to your hosts and they will turn it into episodes. Later, when you are back on that video’s watch page, you will see a “Featured in podcasts” shelf linking to the episodes made from it.
Listening
Episodes play right in the app with a normal audio player you can scrub and seek. The app remembers where you stopped, so you can come back to a long episode later. Each episode also has a readable transcript with the host names, and chapter markers so you can jump around.
Sharing at Home
By default a show is personal to you. You can mark a show as shared so everyone in the household can see and listen to it, which is handy for a family briefing or a shared recap show.
Make It Yours
Give a show its own cover image and its own intro and outro music. The music is generated right in your browser, fully offline, from the same engine behind the Music app, so you can audition a few options and pick the one that fits your show before you commit to it.
