Update MaiPai Home

What you need: about two minutes. Updates never touch your family’s data.

The easy way

When an update is ready, admins see a small dot on their profile picture in the top-right corner.

1. Tap your profile picture.
2. Tap Install & restart on the card.

That’s it. The hub downloads the newest release, restarts itself, and comes back on its own. MaiPai Home checks for updates in the background a few times a day and also sends admins a notification when one is waiting.

The other easy way

1. Open MaiPai Home as the admin.
2. Tap the settings icon, then Admin, then Server.
3. Tap Update & restart.

Prefer zero clicks? On that same Server page, set update checks to Automatic and the hub installs new releases on its own.

You’ll know it worked when the version shown on the Server page matches the latest release.

The other way

Re-running the install command also updates you. It’s safe to run again:

curl -fsSL https://getmaipai.github.io/home/install.sh | sh

On Windows (PowerShell):

irm https://getmaipai.github.io/home/install.ps1 | iex
